In the The Maze Runner, Stan was one of the twenty Gladers who escaped the Maze and went through the next phase.
The Scorch Trials[]
In The Scorch Trials, Stan was presumably blown up by lighting during the thunderstorm in the Scorch along with six others including Winston, Jack, Tim and three unnamed Gladers.

In the The Maze Runner, Stan's name was engraved on the Wall of the Glade. Unlike in the Book, Stan was killed during the Griever Attack.
